"Via Della Finanze looked rough in the evenings. Somewhere a night we saw a car bumped into an other car in front of it 5 times, but we - as tourists - felt quite safe."

"Catania è affascinante, forte, densa di storia e intensità umana. Senz'altro bella, ma come una bella donna che si è lasciata andare. La pulizia è piuttosto scarsa, il rapporto qualità-prezzo, per alloggi turistici e ristorazione, totalmente sbilanciato se non folle. La salvano la bellezza dei suoi abitanti e la presenza imprescindibile dell'Etna. Paga altresì lo scotto di una passata urbanizzazione scellerata, violentata dalla separazione che ha dal mare che pure dovrebbe caratterizzarla, ma da cui si è malamente alienati da strada e ferrovie. Questo abuso ne mina l'identità stessa, ne amputa la meraviglia, ne aliena la fruibilità. "

"We really enjoyed Catania. The center of the city is beautiful and there are many interesting things to do. Walking up Via Etna with the volcano always in sight is a special treat. The area past the Duomo has many good cafes and places for craft beer. We did a street food tour with Gisella and sampled many of the city’s offerings, including cavallo. We will recommend Catania to everyone, especially those who have said that it’s not worth visiting."

"The city is really dirty, like Napoli. The city center is not really interesting and charming, I visited Syracusa and it was much more relax and pleasant atmosphere.
I had to pay 10 euro for a fresh fruit juice on the street, I'm really stupid for not having asled the price before, I just felt like a stupid tourist trap. "

"Die Wohnung ist großzügig geschnitten und liegt in einer top Lage an der Via Etna, die Küche hat alles, was zum Kochen benötigt wird und es gab auch zahlreiche Aufmerksamkeiten wie Öl, Salz, Seife oder Shampoo."
