"The city is incredibly dirty. Only the middle of the old town is cleaned reguraly. There is a need to change the mindset of citizens. "

"I was confused regarding the pick up of rubbish but impressed that the pile left over night was always done. Efficient service . The people were so good to this english speaking traveller and I felt safe always. Beautiful city "

"After staying in the beautiful city I wanted to find out so much more about its history. I spent the whole flight home reading about it. However one of the young guards at the Duomo told me the earthquake was 100 years ago which didn’t feel right in terms of the architecture and I subsequently find out he was wrong. So maybe that needs to be addressed. "

"Overall we enjoyed the stay. Catania has a lot to offer. Public transport is great connected to places we wanted to visit, but we usually walked there as we stayed in perfect place. "
