"We really enjoyed Catania. The center of the city is beautiful and there are many interesting things to do. Walking up Via Etna with the volcano always in sight is a special treat. The area past the Duomo has many good cafes and places for craft beer. We did a street food tour with Gisella and sampled many of the city’s offerings, including cavallo. We will recommend Catania to everyone, especially those who have said that it’s not worth visiting."

"The city is really dirty, like Napoli. The city center is not really interesting and charming, I visited Syracusa and it was much more relax and pleasant atmosphere.
I had to pay 10 euro for a fresh fruit juice on the street, I'm really stupid for not having asled the price before, I just felt like a stupid tourist trap. "

"Die Wohnung ist großzügig geschnitten und liegt in einer top Lage an der Via Etna, die Küche hat alles, was zum Kochen benötigt wird und es gab auch zahlreiche Aufmerksamkeiten wie Öl, Salz, Seife oder Shampoo."

"I like to run every morning. Therefore I went to villa Bellini park. However on three days I could not enter because all doors were locked. This was already about 20 minutes after official opening time. I am very sad that many people do not care for their waste and throw it anywhere in the streets. I cannot understand this because there is a regular waste service that works properly."

"I love the city immensely and I return to it very often. The only problem, and it s a BIG one, is the cleanliness of the city, there is just so much garbage on the pavement everywhere. But, when you raise your eyes from the ground, it s paradise! "

"Abbiamo trascorso un bellissimo weekend a Catania e siamo rimasti davvero soddisfatti dell’esperienza.Abbiamo alloggiato in un appartamento in zona Piazza Bellini, una posizione comodissima per visitare la città e allo stesso tempo molto tranquilla.
Catania ci ha colpito per la sua vitalità, il centro storico ricco di storia, i locali accoglienti e l’atmosfera vivace. Tutto facilmente raggiungibile a piedi e tantissime cose da vedere e da gustare.
Un’esperienza molto positiva che consigliamo sicuramente a chi desidera trascorrere qualche giorno tra cultura, buon cibo e mare.❤️"
