"Catania is a beautiful city with stunning architecture and plenty to see, offering a wealth of sights, cultural and culinary experiences – there really is something for everyone here ♥️
The public transport system is very well organised, but there is a real need for improvement during ‘rush hour’ journeys from the beach towards the city centre, as the buses were regularly overcrowded, meaning many people could no longer be picked up from the stops.
The use of more buses or larger buses would certainly be very useful.

"I was deeply moved my the 8 pm church bells and choir music that I heard while walking though the city. This was the most unique and special part of my visit. Airport car rental interaction was not pleasant as we prepaid for the insurance but were then told it was not acceptable and had to pay again."

"we encountered a man shouting in the street and hitting the bank he sat, he was most likely on drugs. and we had a little bit of hard time taking the buses from center to seaside. eventually we had to walk back from st. giovanni licuti the center because there was no bus. also because the city's buses to Etna only had 1 trip per day, we couldnt visit the Etna."
